Formula One ace Lewis Hamilton has always been in love with movies. It took a long time for the seven-time champion to get the power to make films of his taste. After winning his first title in 2008, it took Hamilton more than a decade to launch his own production house. Almost getting to his 15th year in Formula One, Lewis launched his film production company and named it ‘Dawn Apollo.’ However, Lewis Hamilton has been busy producing his first film under his production company.

The project is the most highly anticipated F1 film ever. This upcoming F1 film named “Apex GP” will star Brad Pitt, and the makers of Top Gun: Maverick are working behind the cameras as directors and producers. According to Lewis Hamilton, this movie will overshadow the popularity of the Netflix Drama, Drive To Survive. However, the latest information is the SAG-AFTRA actor’s and writer’s strike has halted the making of the movie.

The new strike in Hollywood is responsible for the ceasing of the shooting of the film. But Brad Pitt and the team had already shot some scenes in the British and the Hungarian Grands Prix. Moreover, every F1 fan has been talking about the movie ever since they saw Pitt and Apple CEO talk to Lewis Hamilton. According to many reports, this SAG-AFTRA strike has halted many more movies in Hollywood. At first, there was some confusion regarding what effect the strike would have on the shooting of the film in Hungary. Later, the actors in the film, Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, walked off the set due to the strike. According to the schedule of the shoots, both actors must have been present for shooting in Zandvoort.

But nobody knows when they will be back. Moreover, the outcome of the strike will determine when the production crew returns to the grid and the shooting restarts after the F1 Summer break. However, before the filming halted, Lewis Hamilton was very nervous to see the start of the shoot. Hamilton told Autosport that it was exciting to see it all coming together because they have been working on the script and casting for a long time. Moreover, the Dawn Apollo team and the production unit aim to catch the essence of the sport and hope everybody loves it, not only the F1 fans.

However, Hamilton was not sitting idle between his first title and the seventh in 2020. As he established himself as the greatest F1 driver ever. Nobody on the grid has won more races and more pole positions than him. Moreover, no other driver in history has been on the podium as many times as Hamilton. Currently, the seven-time champion has lost his grip on the title. It is because of the team’s failure to provide him with a fast car.

Nonetheless, he is still trying his best to get back to winning ways. Moreover, Lewis Hamilton won his first pole position in the Hungarian Grand Prix this year since the last time in the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. However, Hamilton was able to convert the pole position into a race win in Saudi Arabia in 2021. But the seven-time champion could not convert it into a race win this time in Hungary.
