But a few years later, Durant decided to leave the Warriors. Since then, Kevin Durant has not been to the NBA Finals again. On the other hand, the Warriors won the 2022 NBA title with the same trio after KD was gone.

In the 2023-2024 season, neither Kevin Durant’s Phoneix Suns nor Stephen Curry’s Warriors managed to reach the second round. On the other hand, the Los Angeles Lakers, with LeBron James, lost to the Denver Nuggets again in the first round. Hence, it seemed so new for NBA fans that the second round of the playoffs didn’t have Durant, Curry or James either. Moreover, the Warriors may make some tough calls after Klay Thompson messed up in the play-in tournament against the Sacramento Kings. Now, Durant, Curry, and the Dubs are all looking for some change.
