The Golden State Warriors might look for significant changes in the offseason. After all, the 2023-2024 season did not go as well as they would have liked. They had to deal with so many issues that it became hard to make the playoffs. First of all, when the star players on the team let it down, there is surely something wrong with their season campaign. That’s what happened, as Draymond Green messed it up very early in the season with a couple of back-to-back suspensions. Later, Klay Thompson had a forgettable season.

In the play-in game against the Sacramento Kings, when his team needed him the most, Klay had a scoreless outing. It was really disappointing for his team and the fans, too. Now, in the offseason, Thompson will be an unrestricted free agent. Some say the Philadelphia 76ers are looking to sign Klay. Then, that means the Warriors won’t have the same core group of their iconic trio – Steph, Klay, and Dray. But it is highly unlikely that the Dubs will let Thompson go this offseason. However, there have been rumors that the GSW might try to entice LeBron James to join them. Perhaps his son, Bronny, is the way to do that.

Warriors Interested In The Son Of LeBron James?

It has been a favorite topic of discussion for the NBA fans for a long time to see LeBron James and Stephen Curry team up in the league. In the next Olympics in Paris, fans will see Steph and Bron team up for Team USA. But will they see the two most popular names in the NBA right now teaming up in the league? It does not seem likely. On top of that, the Los Angeles Lakers are not showing any interest to trade LBJ. In fact, Jeanie Buss and Rob Pelinka are planning to do anything to keep James on the team. Previously, LeBron James had said that his last wish to fulfill in the league is to play alongside his son, Bronny James.

That means whichever team gets to pick James Jr. will have a chance to sign the all-time leading scorer. Ahead of the 2024-2025 season, Bronny James signed up for the next NBA Draft. Ever since, several teams, including the Lakers and the Phoneix Suns have showed interest to land Bronny. However, as per Jason Dumas, a Sideline reporter, the Dubs are not one of the top favorites to land James Jr. Hence, the exciting prospect of seeing LeBron and Steph in the same NBA franchise seems highly unlikely.

How Can Bronny Help Steph And His Team?

Since the Warriors have not extended the workout invites like the Lakers and the Suns to the 19-year-old James Jr., the Dubs might not end up landing him. Perhaps they are not very interested either. But the Dubs Nation complains about the lack of size in their team roster. Steve Kerr and the Warriors front office have stacked up the backcourt with Klay Thompson, Gary Payton Jr., and so on.

But they need more skillful players for the frontcourt. Perhaps Bronny James can play alongside Stephen Curry well on the frontcourt. Moreover, Bronny is quite a fan of the Warriors talisman. They might be a perfect fit together, and then the chances of LeBron James joining Steph and Draymond Green at Golden State might rise a bit.
