Red Bull & Verstappen Plan These “Things Differently” To Turn The Things Around In Singapore

Max Verstappen

RBR News

Max Verstappen is among the most successful racers in the past few years. He has emerged as a dominant force, winning three consecutive world titles. The Dutchman kicked off this season similarly, but things took a drastic turn. Verstappen has observed all the clutter, from Christian Horner’s controversy to Adrian Newey’s departure. Initially, it didn’t affect his on-track performance, but now everything has changed.

The RBR triple champion is aching for a win, as he has failed to see the chequered flag in his last seven outings. Further, the performance in Monza and Baku has raised concerns over RB20 efficacy. However, the Dutchman is confident of a turnaround, as he vows to do things differently on the Marina Bay city circuit.

Max Verstappen Remains Optimistic Despite Anticipating A Tough Battle In Singapore

RBR Daily

Max Verstappen is preparing for a challenging weekend at the Singapore Grand Prix but remains optimistic after learning from Red Bull’s previous shortcomings in Baku. Reflecting on the team’s difficulties, Verstappen mentioned that while Marina Bay is a unique circuit, it has historically presented challenges for the team. Singapore often brings close battles because of its tight racing and intense heat.

Verstappen believes the adjustments made in Baku, although positive, left room for improvement. He noted that Red Bull is now focused on optimizing the car’s setup, particularly in controlling the car’s behavior in low-speed sections to avoid instability. With these changes, the team aims to enhance their performance and keep the car more balanced throughout the race.

As the fight for the championship continued, Verstappen emphasized the team’s collective effort. Despite setbacks, he remains determined to push forward, aiming to come back stronger and improve their performance in the upcoming races.

Is Red Bull Moving In Right Direction? Verstappen Explains

RBR News

Max Verstappen revealed that Red Bull struggled to pinpoint the core issues with their car’s performance for a considerable time. However, following the Monza Grand Prix earlier in the month, the team finally clarified the problem. With this understanding in place, Verstappen believes Red Bull is now moving in the right direction and can make effective developments to improve the car.

The Dutchman shared that their experience in Baku provided valuable insights, allowing them to learn more about optimizing the car’s setup. While Verstappen doesn’t feel completely uncomfortable with the car, it hasn’t met his expectations for a while. Specifically, certain adjustments to the car have negatively impacted its balance, making it more challenging for him to extract the desired performance.

Although Verstappen has faced similar situations earlier in his career, it’s not something he’s encountered in recent years. Nonetheless, he remains hopeful that Red Bull’s newfound understanding will lead to improvements in upcoming races.
