Pierre Gasly

Three slots, one each at Alpine, Haas, and Williams, are still up for grabs in Formula One as the silly season continues. And as the rumors circulate, Pierre Gasly, a startling name, has recently gained attention. The Frenchman is racing for AlphaTauri under contract this year. The Frenchman, though, has apparently caught Alpine\’s attention. According to reports, Nyck de Vries and AlphaTauri have struck a deal. And this new relationship will allow Pierre Gasly to transfer to Alpine.

According to Canal+, Pierre Gasly is leaving Red Bull Racing Formula One to take a position at the conclusion of this year. After Daniel Kvyat was released, Gasly joined the Red Bull Junior squad, Torro Rosso. And despite being temporarily elevated to the senior squad for the 2019 campaign to join Max Verstappen in the wake of Daniel Ricciardo\’s departure for Renault, Gasly came back to the junior Red Bull team.

Prior to the Singapore Grand Prix weekend, Gasly stated that he anticipated receiving a definitive response on his future within the next two to three weeks. However, nothing has altered as of yet. If a suitable driver can be found to take Gasly\’s position, Red Bull is allegedly open to the notion of him departing. For some time, the junior Red Bull was briefly focusing on Colton Herta of the IndyCar. However, he lacked the necessary points for a super license.

Although now, Gasly\’s projected relocation to Alpine may now be accomplished as well, thanks to this de Vries-AlphaTauri deal. Since Fernando Alonso said he would be joining Aston Martin at the beginning of the summer break, the French team has been searching for a replacement. From the beginning of his career in Formula One in 2017, Gasly has been part of Red Bull\’s pipeline. He worked with both the Red Bull and subsidiary organization AlphaTauri. However, this looks like a good time to say goodbye to his first home.
