This off-season, the MLB teams have been busy hiring new players for their squads. In a similar manner, the San Francisco Giants have signed Mitch Haniger for a three-year deal. And the first thing Mitch did after finalizing the deal with the Giants did his part in convincing Aaron Judge to join the team.

Mitch Haniger Is Trying To Convince Aaron Judge!

The newly signed San Francisco Giants player has already made an effort to sign Aaron Judge, who is the most sought-after free agent. On Tuesday, Mitch Haniger, a former outfielder for the Seattle Mariners, and San Francisco Giants, came to an agreement on a three-year, $43.5 million deal with a player opt-out after the second year. Only a few hours later, he shared an Instagram story with a photo-shopped caption showing Judge wearing a Giants jersey. In an Instagram post shared by Mitch, he wrote, \”C\’mon Aaron! Join the squad. He also tagged Aaron Judge in the post.

The Yankees and Giants are thought to be the current favorites to sign the slugger, although the reigning AL MVP Judge has not yet signed this summer. As the Giants\’ court judge, for the time being, 32-year-old Haniger fills a necessity. Haniger can compete with the best of them in the ring when he\’s totally healthy. He had a.253 average, 39 home runs, and 100 RBIs in 2021. Despite having ailments in 2022, California native Haninger continued to produce when in motion. He played in 57 games, batting.246 with 11 home runs and 34 RBIs, helping the Mariners reach the postseason for the first time in 20 years.

For the Giants, Mitch has been a key player in the interim. The California native was ill in 2022, yet he was still productive while he was moving about. He struck the ball. He had a batting average of 246 in 57 games while also driving in 34 runs and hitting 11 home runs, helping the Mariners to their first postseason in 20 years. In 2021, Haniger slugged 100 RBI and scored a career-high 39 home homers. His 2018 All-Star year came after 34 games with the Diamondbacks in 2016 when he began his career in Seattle.

The Giants are now hoping that Haniger will be a part of a significant revamp of their outfield. They\’re hoping to combine Judge with Mike Yastrzemski, Haniger, and the rest of their outfield, and they\’re still in communication with Aaron Judge. They know they\’re returning home with at least one new outfielder, at the absolute least.
