Los Angeles Lakers star player LeBron James finally returned to the on-court on Friday after missing five games due to injury concerns. LBJ made his return to the side in last night\’s Lakers vs. the Spurs game. And it is like he was never gone. Just in the first game of his return, James scored 21 points and helped the Lakers crush the Spurs by 94-10. This is an answer to all those critics who were saying the Lakers are playing better without James.

NBA Expert Highlights LeBron James\’ Importance In The Lakers Squad!

LeBron James had to miss practice with the Lakers due to a left abductor injury. Since the 18-time All-Star last participated in a game, it has been over three weeks. The Lakers had a difficult beginning to the season. But they have been able to piece together some wins. The squad has a 3-2 record in the five games that LeBron hasn\’t played.

Evidently, Anthony Davis has contributed in part to LA\’s success. He has improved significantly since LeBron James\’ absence. The former first-round selection is averaging 33.2 points, 17.4 rebounds, 2.2 assists, 2.2 steals, and 2.6 blocks per game over his last five contests. Seeing AD play like his former self has many questioning whether the Lakers would be better off with LeBron.

The commentators on ESPN\’s Jay Williams network disagree with anyone who questions LeBron James\’ significance to the Lakers. Williams recently praised James after his match appearance on Friday.  He said that he is pleased that Anthony Davis has been performing at a high level during the chat. Over the past five games, he has been performing like that top-five player. However, Jay does not think that the Los Angeles Lakers will be improved without LeBron James. He further continued by saying that he thinks the concept is foolish.

Despite the Lakers\’ recent injuries, Jay Williams thinks that LeBron James is one of the best players in the NBA. And he is still worth his weight in gold, even in his 20th season. Many in and around NBA before the season began that LA had one of the league\’s weaker supporting casts. The squad needs its best combo on the court together if they are to have any chance of competing.

An NBA superstar\’s life is filled with wealth, fame, and status, but it also attracts an unfathomable amount of public attention. Recently, LeBron James received praise from Gregg Popovich, the head coach of the San Antonio Spurs, for how he has handled criticism throughout his career. When discussing the criticism, Gregg stated that they would only address the cons. In a sense, it was a false negative. He was handling himself and everything else perfectly.
