Los Angeles Lakers are going through a tough time in the ongoing season of the NBA. Out of the thirteen games played by the franchise, they have managed to cross the finish line in only three. Meanwhile, persistent injury concerns for big players Anthony Davis and LeBron James are not helping their cause either.

In the early games, Davis has been battling with a back injury. Soon after, LeBron James has been out of the playing squad for several injuries. After dealing with a groin injury earlier, LeBron missed the Lakers\’ last two games owing to a leg injury. But when will James make his return to the team?

What\’s The Update on LeBron James\’ Injury?

Due to a left adductor injury, LeBron James, an All-Star forward for the Los Angeles Lakers, has been out for the team since last Wednesday. Meanwhile, there has been an improvement in his injury over the past few days. James\’s availability for the next game against the Pelicans on Friday is reportedly uncertain. Previously, on Wednesday, Darvin Ham provided an update on James\’ condition. And acknowledged the King\’s participation in the Lakers\’ non-contact workout.

The Los Angeles Clippers hadn\’t played since Sunday\’s victory over the Brooklyn Nets when James last appeared on the floor in a defeat to them. Fans have been wishing for a chance for the club to reassess during this infrequent scheduling break.

Since the beginning of the 2022–23 regular season, James has been doing his darnedest to play with an injured left foot. But ultimately, it could be what brought on this more harm. This year, James has not exactly seemed like himself. James\’ shooting percentages have decreased significantly over his first ten games of the season. He shoots.457/.239/.667 and averages 24.9 points per game. Along with these statistics, he grabs 8.8 boards, 6.9 assists, 1.1 steals, and 0.7 blocks. James has improved his leadership skills while out of the game, claims Lakers guard Dennis Schroder.

There are concerns regarding LeBron James\’ availability for Friday\’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers. However, the club should also be bringing back big Thomas Bryant and guard Dennis Schroder for the Pistons game. Due to torn ligaments in their thumbs, neither player has played this season. The two were able to recover from their injuries together after having surgery on separate days.

Given their position on this season\’s points table, the team in Purple and gold would want that James would soon return to the court. And that too in his full groove if the Lakers are to have any chance to qualify for the postseason. In addition, Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook\’s form will also be important for the team moving forward. At the same time, Patrick Beverley needs to rise up to the occasion and justify the big reputation that he holds.
