Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers finally looked like they were changing gears after a pretty ordinary start to the 2022 season. After losing eleven out of 13 games at the start, the squad picked up some momentum and won five out of their last six games played. However, what happened on Monday night in the game against the Indiana Pacers was nothing short of a disaster. A team with players like LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook lost a game after having a 17-point lead till the fourth quarter.

And just like most of the Lakers\’ fans, NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith is also unhappy with the team\’s blunder. Following the embarrassing defeat, Smith has lambasted Anthony Davis and LeBron James for their incompetence in the match.

Stephen A. Smith Holds Anthony Davis Responsible For Lakers\’ Defeat!

The matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Indiana Pacers was well in hand for the Los Angeles Lakers, who had been relatively bad for the bulk of this season. LeBron James and company were up by as much as 17 points after a two-game winning run. However, this youthful Pacers squad showed tenacity and rallied to win the game. Rick Carlisle\’s team prevailed 116-115 at the last buzzer thanks to Bennedict Mathurin\’s 8-point fourth quarter.

Meanwhile, after the game, ESPN\’s NBA analyst Stephen A. Smith criticized Anthony Davis And LeBron James for the team\’s blunderous defeat in the recent episode of his show, First Take. According to Smith, James and AD should be held accountable for what happened last night. Additionally, he questioned AD\’s ability to take two shots in the fourth quarter against the Indiana Pacers, given his playing manner.

Anthony Davis and LBJ, the All-Star team, played well together during the Lakers\’ game. AD put in a strong 25/13 double-double performance, outscoring Bron, who finished with 21 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. The two stars, however, underwhelmed throughout the fight\’s last stretch. King James only managed to score 4 points on eight shots while he was on the field for the entire 12 minutes, compared to just two attempts from The Brow.

After the Lakers\’ defeat on Monday, the Warriors now hold the 10th spot in the Western Conference of the NBA. They are 2.5 games ahead of the Lakers, who are now ranked 13th. If the Purple and Gold squad wants to compete for a spot in the play-in competition at the end of the season, they have a high hill to climb right now.
