LeBron James

LeBron James

LeBron James recently became the second-highest scorer in NBA, overtaking Karl Malone. A week earlier, James became the first player to achieve 10,000 points, assists, and rebounds in the league\’s history. However, unfortunately for the Lakers, the giant performances by James each game have not resulted in consistent wins. Sadly, with no real support from his teammates, James has not been able to lead his team towards the top of the Western Conference table. However, some new rumors have surfaced during the 2022 All-Star Weekend. The rumors suggest that LeBron James could be playing his final few matches for the Lakers. Although James has a contract with the Lakers until 2023, rumors about him leaving a lot earlier have come up.

Following an utterly disappointing season for the Lakers this year, the franchise would look to remodel their team and bring in some young guns. Moreover, James had also expressed a desire to play for Cleveland a third time. However, as James clarified his statement later, it is not a certainty. The comments about moving on from James have stirred up people to predict where he would go next during the final years of his NBA career. His son Bronny is hoping to make it to the association in a couple of years too. Hence, a lot has been said about LeBron\’s future in NBA. So where could James go next after his bittersweet journey with the lakers? Let\’s find out!

LeBron James Playing For Sixers With Harden and Embiid?

A lot of basketball enthusiasts have predicted that LeBron could be a part of a proposed big trade. Charis Mannix and Howard Beck from Sports Illustrated discussed that the four-time NBA champ could possibly move to the Philadelphia 76ers.

During The crossover NBA Show, Beck said that many teams would want the veteran LeBron James on their team. However, the Sixers General Manager Daryl Morey seems to be the front runner in securing James as he loves having superstars in his team. Heck added that the lakers could get youngsters like Tyrese Maxey and Matisse Thybulle in their team in exchange for James. The 17-time NBC Champions LA would be looking to rebuild after a terrible season this year. Hence, the trade seems a fair deal for both franchises.

Luckily for James, he has always wanted to play for the Sixers after LeBron decided to leave the Cavs in 2019. However, his wife persuaded him to go for the LA Lakers. James won a controversial NBC Championship with the Lakers in 2020. Many believed that their win was a fluke as the team played in the infamous Orlando bubble. However, leaving everything behind, if James goes to the Sixers, he will make an excellent trio with James Harden and Joel Embiid.
