Max Verstappen just smashed Lewis Hamilton’s dignity in 2022 with his 15 spectacular Grand Prix wins. Within the past two years, the 25-year-old Red Bull guy became a back-to-back Formula One World Champion. He not only became an F1 world champion, but he did so by beating the seven-time world champion, which keeps a difference and makes it more valuable in the market.

The way Max just won the 2022 world title, made people believe that he is on the way to taking the position of the Mercedes superstar. Just five championships away, Max already broke the record for most wins in a season, surpassing Michael Schumacher.

Plus, seeing his racing tactics, several F1 pundits have already claimed that Max Verstappen is doing the same thing that Schumacher used to do. That is, dominating on the grid from the start till the end of the race. Meanwhile, it looks like the Dutch Red Bull driver never found Hamilton unreachable. Way before winning the two titles, he warned the seven-time world champion saying, “He is one of the best. But, he is not GOD.”

“Lewis Hamilton Was Not The God, Maybe God Was With Him.” Said Max Verstappen Before Smashing Hamilton’s Records.

Looking at Hamilton’s career stats, it is really impossible to have ever imagined him at the place where he is right now. Lewis Hamilton made SIX WORLD TITLES From 2014 to 2020. Who thought that Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time world champion, and the most Grand Prix winner, would have to pass a season with no wins at all? No one dared to replace Hamilton from his domination seat for seven years but Max Verstappen. Right after claiming SEVEN titles, reaching Michael Schumacher’s record, in 2020, apparently, Hamilton ended his reigning period.”

However, looking at what Max Verstappen said way before he even won his first championship, one can figure out that he was trying to warn Hamilton, like, The best is yet to come. In 2020, during the pandemic peak, in February, in one of the Evening Standard interviews, Max said, “Yes Ofcourse, Formula one depends on the car. It is very clear.”

And, it is obviously clear that when Vertsappenw was provided with one of the strongest cars, like RB18, on the grid, he did become the master of causing the checkered flag. Max was a firm believer in the fact that with the right car and one’s skill, a driver can beat anyone, even if he is a seven-time world champion.

But it is not like Max Verstappen does not like Hamilton. He said, “Hamilton is definitely one of the best drivers out there. But he is not God. Maybe God is with him, but he is not the GOD! [he repeated].” He added, “When you can put the pressure on it is a lot harder for the guy in the lead.” According to Max, if a driver does not have that pressure, he can drive at 97 or 98%, and then he never makes mistakes.
