For the New York Yankees fandom, the 2022 season did not go well. They watched as the Houston Astros, who later won the World Series, swept the team in the American League Championship Series. Since then, a significant summer has started, during which the Yankees have seen outfielder Aaron Judge depart the team after a standout season. Hal has made it plain to Judge that the Yankees will do everything in their power to make it happen.

Before the previous Opening Day, the two parties could not reach a contract extension agreement. But Aaron Judge turned down the team\’s seven-year, $213.5 million offer. He was not interested in carrying on talks during the campaign. Instead, he bet on himself in his last campaign before entering the open market for the first time.

Due to his league-leading home run totals, he is also the favorite to win the AL MVP award.

Since 2009, the Yankees have not advanced to the World Series. The squad lost to the Houston Astros in the ALCS after completing with a regular season record of 99-63. Steinbrenner has finally stepped out to reassure supporters that the organization\’s intentions are in line with their expectations. The offseason is when Yankees fans anticipate the team\’s moves as they attempt to improve their roster.
