Mercedes\’ struggle in the ongoing season of Formula One has been unprecedented. Even though seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton has looked like a mere shadow of his past, young Briton George Russell has surely been a positive for the Silver Arrows this year. In the Drivers\’ Championship right now, Russell is ahead of Hamilton, while Mercedes is third in the Constructors\’ Standings.

George Russell Points Out Mercedes\’ Best Chance To Score A Win!

Due to a challenging start to the F1 technical regulation reset, which has seen Red Bull and Ferrari share the lead at the front of the grid thus far, Mercedes is winless this season. Meanwhile, George Russell believes that the Circuit of The Americas, the site of the 2022 US Grand Prix, is the most probable location for Mercedes to win a race in 2022.

In a recent talk, George Russell mentioned that Singapore would be fascinating as a race. However, historically, Mercedes has had some difficulty on that track. They also are aware of their poor performance this year in street circuits. Although, the British driver is impressed with how quickly Mercedes has advanced this season and closed down on Red Bull and Ferrari. This season, Russell has fought bravely and has achieved the best performance possible for Mercedes thus far.

George Russell believes that Mercedes is currently making significant strides as a team. And they now have a better grasp of the vehicles today than they had at the beginning of the season. The squad is making a lot of effort to improve problems before the season. The Silver Arrows\’ opportunity to snap their winless skid from 2022 is decreasing, with only six races remaining. The team\’s next opportunity will come at Singapore\’s Marina Bay Street Circuit.

The Briton, who is aiming for his first F1 triumph, has said that he wants to win rather than place second. Red Bull has vanished into the distance, leaving Ferrari and Mercedes to compete for second place in the Constructors\’ Championship. George Russell wants to \”attempt\” to surpass Ferrari for second place. The Brit doesn\’t really care because \”nobody remembers\” who comes in second, according to him.

Mercedes has shown that they can compete with Ferrari on circuits with significant downforce. At tracks with less downforce, though, the Germans are easily third-best. Except for a race win, which Mercedes has yet to secure this season, the 24-year-old has accomplished everything. Since 2012, Mercedes has finished first or second in at least one race. The current Constructors\’ Champion have six more races to continue their trend this year.
