Derek Jeter is a forever Yankee. After debuting in 1995, Jeter finished his career with the Bronx Bombers itself in 2014 after featuring for over 14 years for the club. Moreover, he was also responsible for bringing a revolutionary change in the most decorated franchise in MLB. During his time with them, the club won 5 championship titles. Moreover, Jeter played a significant part in all those five seasons.

As a result, he was tasked to lead the team as their ‘Captain’ in 2003. Apparently, the Bombers won their last championship title under his reign in 2009. And subsequently, Derek Jeter closed the curtain on his glorious career in 2014. Therefore, retiring as a forever Yankee. And after considering his prolific contribution to the field of Baseball, Jeter was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2020 with 99.75% votes. Now, the legendary Baseball player has added another feather to his cap.

Former Yankees legend Derek Jeter, just received yet another honor for his renowned contributions to Baseball. After being inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame Wall in 2020, Jeter has been conferred with another Hall of Fame induction. Jeter will feature in the newly inaugurated GQ Sports Style Hall of Fame and two other members.

GQ Sports announced the first inductions in their newly inaugurated Hall of Fame wall. The magazine announced Derek Jeter, Deion Sanders, and Allen Iverson as the first members of the Hall of Fame. Moreover, the official induction ceremony will take place in February. Furthermore, Will Welch of GQ Magazine described Jeter as a perfect Hollywood star who just happened to be a Baseball player.

“Derek Jeter is a suave Hollywood megastar who just happened to wear pinstripes,” said Will Welch.

Yankee fans are going gaga over the latest announcement. They congratulated Jeter and hailed him for his prolific career. Meanwhile, certain social media users compared Jeter with Michael Jordan. They referred to him as the Michael Jordan of Baseball. Certainly, the Bombers fans have something to cheer about amid this off-season.

Former Yankees superstar, Derek Jeter, will receive yet another token to honor his contributions to the Baseball sport. However, before this, Jeter received his first highest Baseball honor. In 2020, he obtained a place in the National Baseball Hall of Fame. In a ballot system, Derek received 396 of 397 votes. The official ceremony was supposed to take place in 2020. However, the organizers had to postpone the event due to the Covid pandemic. Finally, the ceremony went underway in 2021.
