Stephen Curry had a lot of ups and downs this year. He would have wanted to lead his team, the Golden State Warriors, en route to the NBA Finals, but the team didn’t even make the playoffs. Moreover, the bad news that shocked the Dub Nation this offseason was Klay Thompson moving to the Dallas Mavericks. Fans thought the Splash Brothers would end their career together wearing the GSW uniform. However, the veteran shooting guard had other plans as he was looking for a fresh start elsewhere. He chose the Dallas side eventually. But that means the Dubs are in dire need to find a suitable replacement for the four-time champion.

Letting a franchise icon leave and join a rival team is never easy. That’s what Steph Curry had to endure along with the Dub Nation this offseason. Moreover, the greatest shooter was busy this offseason participating in his first-ever Olympics basketball. Subsequently, Curry came back home from Paris, winning the Gold medal that made this year a memorable one for him. Moreover, in terms of individual performance, Curry had a good NBA 2023-2024 season. In terms of three-point shooting, Stephen Curry earned an overall 99 mark. However, he just missed the top five places in the new NBA 2K25 video game. Steph was trailing his rival turned friend LeBron James for a top-five spot. Finally, the three-point King got the overall number seven spot in the new NBA 2K25 edition. There are three players in the game who got a 95 rating. Stephen Curry is one of them. Other than LeBron James of the LA Lakers, the greatest shooter in the NBA is trailing Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers, SGA of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks, Luka Doncic of the Mavs and overall top-rated player Nikola Jokic.

Shai Gilgeous Alexander and Joel Embiid got a 96 rating. But the Greek Freak, Doncic and the Joker received a 97 rating each. Anyway, the Warriors talisman just landed ahead of Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics), who also received a 95 rating. Kevin Durant of the Phoneix Suns was also there in the top ten with a 94 rating. On Monday, the NBA released the rest of the 2K25 ratings. They even released the rest of the GSW roster. On September 6, the NBA will release NBA 2K25 across multiple platforms.
