Aaron Judge will for sure be a Hall of Famer in the future. But the fans of the New York Yankees want him to end the title drought that has been going on since 2009. However, he can’t do it alone, as he will need the whole team to be performing around him like the best in the league. So far, that’s what the Bronx Bombers have been doing so well in the current season. Currently, the NY side is leading the American League East division. They started this season really well, and if they can continue the winning momentum for another two months, they will inevitably make the playoffs.

Moreover, the biggest plus this season for the Yankees has been the addition of Juan Soto and his chemistry with the captain. The Judge-Soto duo looks too good for many pitchers to handle this season. Lately, Giancarlo Stanton has made his way back to the lineup, coming off the IL and bolstering the offense even more. If the three big power hitters perform at their finest, then it will be difficult to stop the NY side’s offense. Moreover, Aaron Judge looks unstoppable this year after an early season slump.

Recently, in a game versus the Chicago White Sox, Aaron Judge reached the 300 Home Run milestone. He became the fastest to get there, only took him 955 games. Moreover, it seems he still has seven more seasons to go with the Yankees, as per his nine-year contract. The California native is only 32 years old. Moreover, the kind of form he is displaying at the moment, he should go on to break his own AL single season Home Run record. In 2022, the Yankees captain broke the legendary Roger Maris’s record of 61 homers in 1961. He got to 62 that year. This season, Aaron Judge has hit 44 home runs already. Who knows how many will he end up hitting overall this year and his career?

He might not be able to break the records of Barry Bonds and Hank Aaron in terms of career homers. Hank and Barry started their MLB career in early 20s. However, Aaron Judge started at 24 but fully established himself at 25. At the end of this season, Judge might finish with 315 home runs. However, when Hank and Barry were of the same age, they already had 442 and 374 homers respectively. But Aaron Judge keeps refining his own skills and gets better every year. Who knows, by the time he retires, he may have hit more than 762 HRs.

Juan Soto Wants His Partner In Baseball Crime To Get The All-Time HR Record

After Aaron Judge got to 300 career home runs in the series against the White Sox, Juan Soto expressed what he wants for the captain. The Dominican slugger mentioned that the 2022 AL MVP can break the 762 home run record. That would be great for the game. Barry Bonds who holds that record, had a significant surge during his mid 30s in terms of homer numbers owing to PEDs. But Judge did not have to use performance enhancers.

All he did was refined his skills as he gained more and more experience. If the current MLB Home Run leader maintains this level, he can go on to put great HR numbers in the following several years. Juan Soto wishes the California native good health that can help him get to 762. Moreover, the Dominican slugger said he would love to see “AJ’s pursuit of that record.”
