With Steve Kerr as their head coach, the Golden State Warriors became a dynasty. But this team is not the first dynasty in the NBA that Kerr has been a part of. He was there in the legendary Chicago Bulls dynasty. Albeit he was not part of the Bulls for the whole 1990s decade, he won three titles with the great Michael Jordan. Then, as a player, Kerr won two more titles with the San Antonio Spurs. During his playing days, Kerr had a reputation as a sharpshooter. However, Steve Kerr often has to deal with questions regarding the comparison between Steph Curry and Michael Jordan.

The Dubs coach always said that he is grateful to be part of those two teams with those two superstars and icons of the game. Recently, in an interview, the Warriors coach told Julia Pope that, generally, strong ownership is key for any franchise to succeed. Moreover, Steve Kerr believes not just star players will help build a dynasty. He mentioned a successful franchise must have a superstar player, person, and human being. Moreover, Coach Kerr pointed at Michael Jordan and Steph Curry, saying, “The Bulls had MJ, and the Warriors have Steph.” There has to be that one guy who feels Kerr, who is the frontman and also the best player on the team.

Moreover, Curry and Jordan have been global icons that made the game even more popular to modern-day kids. That’s why Kerr feels it is a matter of really good luck to have such players in the team who lead from the front. Finally, Kerr said he’s lucky to be a part of two different teams that had players of that caliber. However, it seems things are getting even more difficult for Steph Curry to win a couple more titles to catch up with Michael Jordan. The “Black Jesus” has six with the Bulls Dynasty.

Statistically, Steve Kerr has a more accurate three-point record than the modern-day great Steph Curry. Under Kerr’s coaching, the skinny kid from Akron, Ohio, revolutionized the game of basketball. The Golden State Warriors, with their dynasty, changed the game forever. Now, three-point shooting is the biggest weapon for any basketball team.

Moreover, the revolution happened as the Warriors won four titles in eight years. The credit goes to the Splash Brothers – Steph Curry and Klay Thompson.
