A young British F1 driver took everyone by surprise with his racing skills. The Brit, driving for McLaren, had an undeniable composure yet a fierce touch. In 2008, the fresh face marched towards his maiden world title. While iconic drivers like Micheal Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen gave him a tough fight, the Brit emerged victorious. The name of this driver has echoed through the grandstands for nearly two decades. He is none other than Lewis Hamilton, a living legend who continues to grace the circuit.

Hamilton is famous for his unwavering determination and passion for the sport. Thus, his energy on track is contagious due to his love for racing. However, the legend is enduring a rough patch. Since 2022, the seven-time world champion has lost his charm. Further technical woes of the Mercedes team have aggravated his agony. The team is concerned about his dull demeanor as Hamilton is ready to pack his bags for Italy to join Ferrari.

The recently concluded Monaco GP has raised doubts and concerns over Hamilton again. While the Briton performed well during the free practice, his qualifying woes pushed him to P7. As a result, during the post-race interaction, the champion racer appeared deranged. While he hopes to end his Mercedes stint on a high note, recent performances have yielded underwhelming results. Further, Hamilton claimed he wouldn’t be able to outrun teammate George Russell in this season. Consequently, this sparked an uproar among his fans, who accused Mercedes of treating Hamilton poorly. While his P7 finish was disappointing, it was hardly surprising. The 39-year-old racer has earlier breached the treacherous Monte Carlo circuit three times. However, the current form looks dingy, which has affected his enthusiasm.

There is a striking contrast between Hamilton’s past glory and present frustration. However, the question about his future looms large. While he appeared excited during the Ferrari unveiling, his enthusiasm has recently faded. The racer told Sky Sports he is not looking forward to driving in Canada. The statement shocked Hamilton’s and Scuderia’s fans, as he has won seven times on circuit Gilles Villeneuve. After such a dreary response, Ferrari’s boss would closely observe Hamilton’s demeanor. Moreover, the Scuderia fans would hope that Hamilton’s passion returns as he takes the seat for Ferrari.

Former Team Principal Believes Hamilton’s Spark Will Reignite At Ferrari

A former team principal’s prediction might relieve the Prancing Horse fans. Recently, Eddie Jordan predicted Hailton’s much-awaited Ferrari move would result in ‘fireworks.’ Jordan explained the seven-time world champion needed a new home after a constant dip at Mercedes.

Therefore, Hamilton searched for a new team and signed with Ferrari. Regarding Hamilton’s winning the world title, Jordan replied that Ferrari is magical and Fred Vasseur has brought calmness to the squad. Thus, the chances of Hamilton winning a record eighth world title with Ferrari are solid.
