Entry List For Kwik Trip 250 In The NASCAR Cup Series At Road America!

NASCAR

NASCAR Cup Series will move to Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, during the upcoming weekend for the third road race of the season, following the Ally 400 Thriller on June 17. The second edition of the Kwik Trip 250 would be the 18th race of the Cup Series. This will be held at the Road America motorsport road course in Wisconsin. The race will feature 62 laps across the 4.048 miles long road course. It would only be the second occasion in the Cup Series history when Road America will host a race.

The road course hosted its first Cup Series race in 1956, with Tim Flock securing the win with his Mercury for car owner Bill Stroppe. Flock led for 17 laps during the 63-lap event and made just two pitstops to mark his fourth victory of the 1956 season. However, the race course was not included in the Cup Series calendar until 2021, when the venue hosted the Independence Day weekend.

Meanwhile, the race course has 14 exciting turns, and the drivers will cover a distance of around 250 miles over the course of 62 laps. Finally, NASCAR Cupe drivers will head to Road America after the venue was brought into the schedule last year. Chase Elliot won the Cup Series race for Hendrick Motorsports. The Kwik Trip 250 is scheduled on Sunday, July 3, at 3:00 p.m. ET.

Who Are The Top Entries For Kwik Trip 250?

This year, 27 cars will be taking part in the Road America competition. The Ally 400 winner Chase Elliot is the favorite to win his second race of the season. He is currently on top of the Cup Series standings. Thus, the 26-year-old is the prime favorite to win at Road America with the odds of +500.

Secondly, Kyle Larson is right behind Elliot with +600 odds. He is one of the top contenders and overall betting favorite to win the upcoming race. However, Larson has not won a race since the WISE Power 400. Thus, it could be a challenge for Kyle to prove his racing talents this weekend.

Other top contenders to win the Kwick Trip 50 are Ross Chastain(+800), Kyle Busch(+900), Ryan Blaney(+1200), Martin Truex Jr.(+1200), and Denny Hamlin(+1200). Further, other top-class drivers on the entry list for Kwick Trip 250 race are Christopher Bell, Joey Logano, Daniel Suarez, A.J. Allmendinger, William Buron, Alex Bowman, and Tyler Reddick.
