The Los Angeles Lakers have seen a lot of ups and down this season. The 2022 NBA season has been nothing but a roller coaster ride for the Hollywood side. But things were not always bad and not always good. The Lakers began the season with the worst start in the 65 years in the history of the organization. After adapting to the season, LA delivered two consecutive victories but only to return back to their losing streak. However, the Lakers began playing true potential when LeBron James got injured in November.
The Lakers have been a different pedigree since Anthony Davis has taken charge of the team. Davis has been a beast when it comes to his shoulders sailing the boat of the Lakers. In the meantime, the 29-year-old has also broken many records that were done and dusted years ago. However, the team suffered whenever Davis missed games. The squad have not been good overall, as the worst teams are San Antonio Spurs and Huston Rockets in the Western Conference.
Draymond Green Is A Fan of The Lakers
It\’s not breaking news the Golden State Warriors Draymond Green speaks anything good about the Lakers. He has been a LeBron James fanboy for years now. In his interview with ESPN, the 32-year-old said he does not fear any team in the Western Conference. However, the power forward has some level of appreciation and respect for some teams in the league. Green added that he would never count the Lakers out as they are filled with so much potential.
According to Draymond Green, the Lakers have some of the best players in the league, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook. Meanwhile, the Green has not been at his best because of ruined things in their dressing room since the preseason. However, the Warriors managed to win against the best team in the league, Celtics Boston. They will have to keep it going in order to qualify for the playoffs this season. Meanwhile, James and the company believe that picks must be traded to make the team even better this season.
LA has not been at its best in the league, but they are slowly picking up the pace. They are currently sitting at the 13th position with a 10-15 record in the league. Los Angeles has not played like a title contender, but Green believes in them regardless. The Lakers are, without a doubt, a team to watch as they move upward at a fast rate. However, the team has not really shown any potential from the start, which will increase their hardships in the future. But the solution to the problem could be selling the picks in order to attract the players that solve the Lakers\’ problem.
