After the last season\’s humiliation, Los Angeles Lakers began a complete shake, starting with hiring Darvin Ham as the team\’s new head coach. And Ham is the kind of coach who has always provided mental support to the players and gives them extended chances. Looks like his methods have started showing results. After losing several games at the start of the season, the Lakers are staging a turnaround, as they have won five of the last six games.

In the last game against the Spurs, Lakers point guard Russell Westbrook was badly injured. After being hit in the head by Zach Collins, Westbrook was bleeding from his forehead. And his teammate LeBron James was among the first to help him and cover his wound. Recently the coach has praised LeBron for his presence of mind.

After the game, Los Angles Lakers head coach Darvin Ham talked to Dave McMenamin of ESPN. During the discussion, Ham lauded LeBron James\’ critical effort as he tried to break up the face-off between heated Russell Westbrook and Zach Collins, who smashed an elbow in Russ\’ face. The togetherness and fraternity that Ham wants the Lakers organization to symbolize are major examples of what he saw in James, according to Ham.

Coach Darvin Ham stated that it was a display of \”togetherness\” by James. He said in a situation like this that, it was important to calm down Westbrook, who was just hit in his face and was bleeding. He praised the maturity shown by LeBron James and said that there is a brotherhood among the Lakers player.  During the game, Zach Collins struck Russell Westbrook in the head in a foul play, which caused Westbrook to bleed from his forehead. LeBron then pulled Westbrook away from Collins and tried to calm him down. He quickly seized a towel and applied it to Westbrook\’s forehead in an effort to stem the bleeding.

Meanwhile, previously, Ham stood beside Patrick Beverley when he was under a lot of fire for pushing DeAndre Ayton. When Ayton stood over Patrick\’s fallen teammate, taunting him, Beverley came rushing from behind and pushed the ground. Beverley received a three-match suspension after the game. But the Lakers weren\’t mad about what he did. Ham revealed that the occurrence was undoubtedly an unfortunate one. However, he has nothing against the way Patrick stood up for his teammate. And the Lakers\’ players need to have each other\’s back on the court.
