The New York Yankees have been on a roll since the start of the 2024 regular season. They have been dominating the American League with a superior record so far. It all comes down to the impact of Juan Soto and his chemistry with the 2022 AL MVP in the New York clubhouse. The opposing pitchers find it really difficult to throw when the NY side’s batting order is like the Judge-Soto duo coming one after the other. Moreover, the captain of the Bronx Bombers had a very slow start to the ongoing regular season. He took the whole month of April to get back to his groove. Later, in May, Aaron Judge turned things around.

His performances in the months of April and May have been very contrasting. The 2022 AL MVP is already leading the league with the most home runs at the moment. On the other hand, his partner in baseball crime has been the most impactful player for the Yankees in terms of OPS and whatnot. Lately, the Dominican superstar hit a couple of home runs to help the Yankees sweep a three-game series against the San Francisco Giants. Moreover, the fans in the Bronx are full of excitement and wants to see Juan Soto wear the Pinstripe uniform for the rest of his career.

On Sunday, the New York Yankees came back from behind against the San Francisco Giants to win 7-5. Juan Soto led the pack with two huge home runs. That got the crowd going even though they were playing at the Oracle Park. However, the Yankees fans, as Soto puts it, “Are massive,” they are everywhere. The team is never short of fan support anywhere they may play. Despite the team has not been to the World Series since 2009, the fans believe that they can do it this year. It seems like now or never kind of a situation as Soto will be a Yankee for just this year possibly. But the fans want the Bronx Bombers to keep him forever.

The Dominican superstar hit a homer off Blake Snell, the 2023 NL Cy Young winner, very early in the game on Sunday. In the fifth inning, Soto took a blunt single on which he scored. When the ninth inning started, the Yankees were down 5-3. Later, Gleyber Torres and catcher Jose Trevino sparked the Bronx Bomber’s comeback. They took a single and scored runs to give Juan Soto an opportunity to win it in style.

That’s what the Dominican superstar did. He hit another home run. This time, it was for two runs. Giancarlo Stanton hit a game-winning RBI double. Later, Aaron Judge scored the final run. And eventually, the Yankees won 7-5 to enjoy a sweep against the Giants on the road.
