Max Verstappen helped Red Bull to regain their hegemony in the F1 grid. Since 2013, the Austrian outfit waited a long time to win one title, either constructor or the Driver’s World Championship. But they did not win anything until the Dutch driver broke Lewis Hamilton’s streak in 2021. It was an epic showdown between the two best drivers on the grid right now. But the tables have turned since the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix in 2021. Lewis Hamilton has not won any race with Mercedes since 2022. Who knows if he can end the winless drought in 2024?

But as of now, there is no doubt about who is the most dominant driver in the sport. It is Max Verstappen. He won 34 races in the last two seasons. Who knows how many races the Dutch driver will win in 2024? But to continue with the hegemony, Red Bull will need things to go in their favor. Currently, things are starting to go a little downhill for Christian Horner. It seems like there has been a power struggle going on in the Austrian outfit. But Max Verstappen claims everything is as usual with the Red Bull team principal.

Recently, there has been a rumor around the Dutch media that Jos Verstappen and Christian Horner’s relationship has been “Badly Damaged.” Moreover, the Dutch media also speculates that Verstappen is loyal to Helmut Marko. As a result, Horner and the Verstappen family have fallen out. But Max Verstappen told the media, including Crash.net, that his relationship with Christian Horner is stronger than ever. Moreover, Max hits out at the media, saying, “I don’t know who likes to write these things, but it’s the same between me and Christian.”

On Thursday, Red Bull launched their 2024 F1 challenger. During the launch, Christian Horner made his first public appearance after the investigation regarding his “Inappropriate behavior” started. The 50-year-old Red Bull boss denied all allegations. Regarding the case around Horner being a distraction, Max Verstappen claimed he is personally focusing on his own performance. He said he’s trying to get ready and fit to drive the new car, as well as discussing certain things with the engineers. Later, he mentioned that when he returns home, he tends not to think about F1. As Max said, “My life is not only Formula One.”
