The New York Yankees have been depending on the form of Aaron Judge ever since the epic 2022 season. That year, the NY side’s captain broke the American League home run record, surpassing Roger Maris. He managed to hit 62 homers that season. However, the fans in the Bronx have one complaint about the superstar slugger that he has not yet helped the franchise win a World Series. Moreover, the Bronx Bombers have not made it to the ‘Big Dance’ since 2009. That was the year when they won their last World Series. Moreover, Aaron Judge has been an integral part of the Yankees since his debut in 2017. He had a pretty good debut season, hitting over 50 home runs.

Coming to 2024, he has proved that he is one of the best power hitters in baseball. Moreover, in 2022, Judge won the AL Most Valued Player award for breaking the home run record. He has accomplished a lot so far in his MLB career. Lately, he got his 6th selection as a starter for the All-Star Games. Moreover, his teammates are super proud of their captain as the starting pitcher, Marcus Stroman lately posted a message on social media (Instagram) to celebrate Judge.

Aaron Judge has made overall seven appearances in All-Star Games. Adding the 2024 ‘Call-up’ makes it six selections as a starter. Last year, he could not make it to the All-Star games due to a sprained right toe. But this year, Judge has been looking for redemption along with his team. He got 3,425,309 votes in the fan ballot’s first round. The 6th selection as the starter in All-Star Games is a pretty big feat for the Yankees captain. It is another one of his big accomplishments. For that, the Yankees starting pitcher Marcus Stroman congratulated the captain on Instagram. The starting pitcher shared a post that the NY side uploaded, and that’s where he posted a story to celebrate Judge’s 6th All-Star game selection as a starter.

Clearly, Aaron Judge also has been the top vote-getter in the league this year. As a personal message, Marcus Stroman wrote, “Captain has been building a crazy legacy.” It is not the first time that the Yankees superstar slugger has been the top vote-getter. In 2022, when he won the AL MVP for breaking the home run record, Aaron Judge was a top vote-getter for the very first time. The fan balloting started in 1970, and since then, there have been only 11 players to be the top vote-getter multiple times. Aaron Judge has been the 11th addition to that elite list.

On Sunday, the Yankees lost 8-4 to the Cincinnati Reds. Marcus Stroman had a season-worst performance, giving away a three-run home run. In the 5th inning, Spencer Steer gave the key blow to the Yankees, hitting a three-run homer. Later, that turned out to be the biggest difference in the game. In the six of his last games, Marcus Stroman has seen a dip in performance.

He told the media, “I need to get better to give the team a chance.” Moreover, Stroman said that he was so close to keep it to just two runs. It was just a matter of one pitch. Anyway, what happened next was brutal for him and the team. He mentioned, “The fact is I didn’t do my job.”
