Klay Thompson was part of another loss of the Golden State Warriors against the defending champions Denver Nuggets. On the other hand, the Nuggets have been unstoppable in the last six games. Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray’s army has proved that even more than an 11-point lead with four minutes remaining is not enough to confirm a victory against them. The Splash Brothers were not enough to seal a victory for the Warriors at home against the defending champions. That’s how strong the team from Colorado has been in the last few years.
Anyway, Steph Curry made a crucial blunder in the game against the Nuggets around the last minute when Jamal Murray blocked his assist. He could pass the ball to Chris Paul for a three-pointer. But no, he had to pass it to Andrew Wiggins who had a better three-point percentage in that game. On the other hand, Murray was ready to block Curry’s pass to Wiggins. After all these mistakes, Klay Thompson is really missing his teammate Draymond Green.
Klay Thompson Waiting Eagerly For The Return Of Dray Green
For sure, the Warriors don’t look complete without Draymond Green in the lineup. In the post-game interview, Klay Thompson told the media that they felt the absence of Draymond Green the most against the Nuggets. Moreover, Klay said the team feels his absence everywhere. The return of Green is what the team is looking forward to the most. Adding to that, Klay Thompson mentioned that it is not even necessary to state the value Green brings to the table. Clearly, Klay Thompson tried to say that Green means a lot to this team.

Lately, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN mentioned on Thursday that Dray Green might return to the facility of the Dubs “In the coming days.” The Woj added that Green would return to the facility with the sole intention of resuming his play as soon as possible. Hence, there’s a chance that Klay Thompson and the team might not have to wait for that long to see the return of Draymond Green. It is really hard to imagine that the Warriors would blow the double-digit lead with the Dub’s tripod playing.
The Joker’s Buzzer-Beater Shocked The Warriors
The buzzer-beater of the Joker really hurt the Dubs. The game could have gone to overtime, with both teams tied at 127-127 in regulation time. But the 39-foot three-pointer of Jokic blew the Golden State Warriors apart. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson, the maestros of three-point shooting, felt a taste of their own medicine. With three seconds remaining, the Warriors were unable to stop Nikola Jokic from shooting the three-pointer, resulting in the game ending with 130-127.
However, it is not the first time for the Joker to seal a game getting the clutch point. But this makes the Golden State Warriors look even more miserable. Currently, the Dubs are the 10th seed in the Western Conference. They are 17-18. Lately, they beat the Detroit Pistons 113-109 in a close game. The Pistons are lately placed at the bottom of the Eastern Conference.
