Aaron Judge and Juan Soto are constantly proving that they can destroy any defense come their way. They are the best offensive 1-2 punch this season. It is a tough decision for the other teams to intentionally walk the Dominican slugger because next comes the California Native. The Judge-Soto duo has been wreaking havoc throughout the season. They are the biggest reason why the NY side is at the top of the American League East division. Moreover, this offensive duo is raising hopes in the Bronx of winning the World Series this year.

It has been a long time since the Pinstripes have made it to the ‘Big Dance.’ The last time they made it to the World Series was in 2009, when they actually won it all. But the 27-time champions have been waiting a long time to make it 28. Can it finally happen this year? A lot will depend on the star duo of Judge and Soto. Lately, the superstar Yankees duo blew the Cleveland Guardians as they won 8-1 on Wednesday.

Aaron Judge hit a couple of long home runs against the Cleveland side on Wednesday. He proved why he is the front-runner in the league’s most home run list. The Yankees captain bashed his 46th as well as 47th homers of the season. He is on pace to reach 60 home runs this regular season. Can the 2022 AL MVP break his own record of 62 homers in 2024? Nonetheless, Juan Soto’s performance on Wednesday was captivating enough that it even caught the captain’s attention. So far, in the home series against the Cleveland Guardians, the Dominican slugger is constantly proving why he is such a special talent. Moreover, Aaron Boone, the manager, heaped high praise for the ‘Generational talent.’ After Wednesday’s game, Boone mentioned that Soto is just 25 years old, hence he is still in quite early stage of his career.

But that fact is just remarkable because of the immense experience he already has. Moreover, the manager said in the post-game interview that Soto is still learning, growing and developing. Adding to that, the skipper noted that it does not hurt the team to have Aaron Judge next to Juan Soto. But that just proves how great Soto is as a slugger. Boone added that the Dominican slugger is not thinking too much on how many homers he wants to hit this year. Anyhow, the manager said the former San Diego Padres outfielder has been obsessed with “Having good at-bats, and most importantly, he lives that every single day.”
