Stephen Curry defied all odds against him to become one of the most dominant players in the NBA. Albeit, he was a promising star in the early 2010s hailing from Akron, Ohio, people doubted if he would be a similar prospect as LeBron James. However, things started changing for the better when Steve Kerr became the Dubs head coach. Kerr has been part of the great Chicago Bulls dynasty back in the 1990s as a player.

He has played with great players as Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman. Hence, Kerr knows a thing or two about great players when he sees them. Back in 2013, Mark Jackson was the coaching leader of the GSW. However, on April 19, 2013, Steve Kerr tweeted that Steph Curry would become the greatest shooter of all time. A tweet from the Dubs’s head coach that dates back to April 19, 2013, reads that Steph Curry would go down as the greatest shooter in history. On top of that, Steve Kerr mentioned that the skinny kid from Akron, Ohio, had incredible confidence and ability to make his own shot. Adding to that, Kerr said Curry had an incredible stroke as well. Clearly, Steve Kerr was right on the money. But the coaching leader back then, Mark Jackson, guided the team to a 47-35 record at the end of the 2013 season. Gradually, the Warriors were getting better. On top of that, the Dubs made it to the playoffs as well. But they lost to the San Antonio Spurs in the conference semis. Back then, the Spurs and the Miami Heat were dominating their respective conferences.

Albeit, Stephen Curry was not really the top-voted player back in 2013, he was showing signs of greatness. Steph showed a lot of promise when he scored 54 points as the league’s highest regular season total. Other than that, Curry held the record for most 3’s in a season game with 11. LeBron James and Kevin Durant dominated the chart back in 2013, Curry won the Player of the Month in the last month of the season. That’s how people could feel his presence. On top of that, the Warriors had the best three-point proficiency with 40.3%.

Later, to the utter surprise of the fans in San Francisco, this skinny kid led the franchise to their golden era. Against all odds, Stephen Curry proved that he is one of the greatest point guards of all time.

Moreover, Steph led the Golden State Warriors to four championships in a matter of eight years. On top of that, the Splash brothers took the league by storm with their incredible three-point shooting. They were unstoppable, and as a result, they became the modern-day dynasty.
