New York Yankees captain Aaron Judge and his abysmal slow start to the 2024 MLB season is history. The former AL-MVP is back to doing what he does best, i.e., hitting home runs. Judge rebounded in May to emerge as one of the best hitters of the active season.

Aaron Judge recently showcased his surreal consistency against San Diego on a West Coast trip. He homered in four back-to-back games to not only script individual history but also propel the New York Yankees to a series victory. Interestingly, Judge found an admirer in an ex-Yankee who was a part of the team’s championship-winning team.

Aaron Judge has been on a tear this MLB season, hitting home runs at a record pace and consistently delivering in clutch situations. After a horror show in April, the New York Yankees captain witnessed a resurgence overnight as his numbers soared through the roof. In the past 20 games, Judge scored 11 home runs and 12 doubles, which is the most an MLB player has hit in such a short period since 1901. Entering Monday, his average also touched .383. Moreover, in the recently concluded series against the San Diego Padres, Judge slammed four home runs in four straight games to extend his extraordinarily hot streak. Needless to say, the Yankees were delighted to witness the surreal moment along with a few ex-teammates.

Nick Swisher, who was a part of the New York Yankees last championship-winning team in 2009, rooted for Aaron Judge on social media. He shared a post for Judge and requested him to stay hot for as long as possible. Indeed, Judge’s hot streak has had a profound impact on the Yankees’ season. With the captain finally leading the charge, the Yanks have become one of the most formidable teams in the league, let alone AL-East. And it’s important for Judge personally as the team has always been dependent on him. While Juan Soto and Giancarlo Stanton have been equally impressive this year and have shared the weight of offensive responsibilities, replacing Aaron Judge is impossible. He is a leader who sets the tone for his team. His hot streak also injected a sense of confidence and belief in the team to do better.

Marcus Stroman Boasts Yankees’ Hitting Lineup’s Greatness

After a 4-1 win over the Padres, Marcus Stroman, who also pitched a scoreless start, revealed that being a part of the Yankees is a privilege for him. He is awestruck to watch the greatness of Aaron Judge, Juan Soto, and Gerrit Cole. “Those are going to be three of the best players I think to ever play this game,” Stroman said.

The pitcher added that he often takes these kind of opportunities for granted. But not anymore. Marcus Stroman stated that he will recall these times with his grandkids someday in future. Indeed, the current Yankees roster has been one the strongest units in recent times and the 2024 MLB season seems Yanks best choice at locking a championship.
