The top three drivers of the modern era are Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, and Charles Leclerc. Albeit the Mercedes ace is much older than the other two, he is still very fast. Then, again, two of those three racers are world champions. But the one who is not a world champion yet is the Monagasque driver. So far, in his career, the Ferrari driver has won six Grand Prix. On the other hand, the Red Bull racer is the current triple-time champion. He is on his way to win his fourth World Championship. Moreover, the Dutch racer is already number three on the list of most F1 race winners.

Max and Charles are both 26 years old. On the other hand, Lewis Hamilton is 39 years old. Moreover, the English great leads the list of most race wins in F1 of all time. However, he has been winless since 2022. But the two 26-year-old racers have won enough races in the last two years to make them greats of the modern era. However, Leclerc is a little behind Verstappen in the fight for the title this year. Lately, the Monagasque driver called Hamilton ‘Calculative’ and Verstappen ‘Aggressive’ in an interview.

Since Leclerc and Verstappen are not that close to each other in their fight for the championship, their relationship is more or less good now. But they go a long way back in their childhood days of go-karting and racing. They never used to look eye to eye each other when they were kids. Even when they made their debut in Formula 1, they had a pretty intense rivalry. But things have calmed down between them in the last few years. However, they have been the top drivers in the cost cap era. Recently, in an interview with La Stampa, a newspaper, Charles Leclerc talked about his two rivals in the sport. He mentioned that both Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen are very fast. Moreover, the Ferrari driver tried to explain how different they are. Leclerc added that his future teammate is always “Calculating on the track.”

The way the seven-time champion moves and positions the car whenever he defends or attacks, Leclerc believes there is a huge experience and thought behind it. On the other hand, Charles Leclerc believes Max Verstappen is very “Aggressive.” He added that Verstappen’s approach is like, he will go if he finds a space somewhere. Finally, Leclerc talked about his own approach and style. He said, “I’m very intuitive.” The Monagasque driver said they are all fast but his speciality is his intuition. Generally, during qualifying sessions, Leclerc feels intuition is what characterizes him.
