Aaron Judge has been leading the New York Yankees to a great start this year. Currently, the Bronx Bombers are 50-24. They have been the first team to reach 50 wins this season. Their 50th win came against the Boston Red Sox in Game 1 of the three-game series. Moreover, a lot of factors played a crucial role in helping the NY side have a great start to the 2024 regular season. They were coming off a horrible 2023 season where they could not make the postseason and finished with a terrible 82-80 record. That was their worst season in the last 30 years.

Anyway, the Yankees have come a long way since then. At present, they have one of the best records in baseball. However, the NY side had a shocking series loss against none other than their arch rivals the Boston Red Sox. This division rivals of the Bronx Bombers are not having a great season so far. Prior to the series, the Red Sox were hovering around a .500 record. Moreover, they did not have their ace pitcher in the three-game series. Later, Aaron Judge lamented the RISP failures as they lost the series.

In Game 3 on Sunday, Aaron Judge hit a monster home run out of Fenway Park in the first inning. That way the Yankees were leading 1-0. But the home team came back really strong and won the third game 9-3, and subsequently winning the series. The Boston side seemed quite aggressive on the basepaths. They went on to steal seven bases and frequently took extra bases on Sunday. Later, Aaron Judge talked about third game in the post-game interview. According to YES Network, the 2022 AL MVP mentioned that the Red Sox really managed to get on base frequently. Once they did, they were also able to get to scoring position. On the other hand, the Yankees captain believes his team were 0-5. Hence, Judge says, “You won’t win a lot a of ball games in that fashion.” The Yankees could not but their rivals were able to capitalize in the third game. Aaron Judge concluded, “Well, that’s the story of tonight’s game.” In the seventh inning, the Bronx Bombers were trailing by one run. But they loaded the bases with no outs. They had pretty good odds of tying the game and even winning it all. But the Boston side was smart enough to tack on insurance runs right away. Hence, it got difficult for the NY side to come back to the game after that point.

It generally gets really difficult for hitters to hit a homer over the Green Monster at Fenway Park. But that was not the case with the 2022 AL MVP. Aaron Judge was able to hit an early solo home run to give his team the lead. To hit a homer in left field of the Green Monster, the Yankees captain needed a launch angle of 45 degrees, and it went as long as 380 feet at a bat speed of 114 miles per hour.

Currently, Aaron Judge leads the MLB Home Run list with number 26 on Sunday. He also leads the league with RBI (64). Moreover, Judge’s 26th homer pushed his OPS to 1.110, which is his MLB-best. Anyway, his team has been 5-5 in the last ten games. Next, they face another division rivals, the Baltimore Orioles, who are only 1.5 games behind them.
