Aaron Judge and Juan Soto, the powerful dynamic duo of New York Yankees, have been incredible on the plate this year. The duo have complemented each other and while Judge was down for the first month, Soto covered up ground to support the team’s offensive production.

However, once the season enters its second half, Aaron Judge and Juan Soto might see themselves engaged in a personal battle. With both of them running parallel so far, the much anticipated MVP race has already started to heat up, with analysts weighing their split thoughts on both the stalwarts’ chances.

As the MLB season progresses and the race for the MVP award heats up, several standout players are making compelling cases for the prestigious honor. Among them are New York Yankees teammates Juan Soto and Aaron Judge. While helping the team win remains the duo’s first priority, the personal accolades are something Soto will also be focusing on in the wake of his impending free agency. Soto has been consistent since the start in pinstripes and is currently leading AL with a .419 on-base percentage, .968 OPS, and 33 RBIs. However, before the generational star could get comfortable, his teammate and captain, Judge, is racing to catch up with him despite a slow and abysmal start to the season.

Aaron Judge was hitting just over .200 in April. But in the first week of May, his batting average has soared to .333, with four home runs in the past seven games. He has already surpassed Juan Soto in the franchise home run tally for the season. The May resurgence prompted former Yankees hitting coach Sean Casey to put Judge back in the AL-MVP conversation. Casey revealed in a recent MLB interaction that one cannot count Judge out of the MVP race ever, as once the slugger gets going, there’s no stopping him. Overall, as the MVP race heats up in the second half of the season, both Juan Soto and Aaron Judge will continue to dazzle Yankee fans with their exceptional talent and contributions on the field. While Soto may currently have the edge in the MVP race, Judge’s impressive performance and leadership make him a formidable contender for the award.

The New York Yankees continue to remain hot this MLB season after stacking up series win after series. They recently outclassed arch postseason rivals Houston Astros for the second time this year and captain Aaron Judge was overjoyed. He said good things are happening to the team and they are winning. That’s all that matters for now.

While Aaron Judge’s personal form has been on and off, the Yankees have been consistent and do not seem to be dependent on the captain at all, which was not the case until last year. Nevertheless, the resurgence after a lost season has been a positive sign as Judge looks forward to a deep postseason finish from here.
