Major League Baseball\’s free agency for the upcoming 2023 season is due to end on November 15. As per the calendar, there are only two days remaining before the deadline. But the future of the most sought-after player in the MLB currently is not yet decided. It is anticipated to be a clash of the titans between the New York Yankees and the San Francisco Giants for the battel to hire Aaron Judge. But now, something has happened that might give the Yankees an edge in their competition.
Is Aaron Judge Still Going To Giants?
Recently, a media outlet named SFgate published a small piece regarding Aaron Judge\’s wife. The piece was regarding the fact that Aaron\’s wife ran a marathon in New York City. The write-up was titled \”I really hope Aaron Judge\’s wife didn\’t run a marathon as a decoy.\”
This apparently did not sit well with Aaron Judge. According to the reports, the slugger is unhappy about the feature. Some sources are claiming that this might have come at the wrong time for the Giants, as this could swing Judge\’s mood to rejoin the Yankees.

It\’s hardly a reach to think that Yankees management is thinking if this aided Judge\’s argument for staying a Yankee. Jon Heyman\’s adversary agent thought it was too conspiratorial when he asked Heyman if it wasn\’t a ruse to attract attention from other teams in New York. But no one in recent memory will receive as much attention for Judge\’s free agency. But given that there isn\’t any evidence to suggest that the bizarre coverage would end once the Aaron Judge reaches the Bay Area, Judge might want to reconsider traveling back home.
Farhan Zaidi, president of baseball operations for the Giants, stated last week that the organization would deny no free agent a contract and that it is in both parties best interests to sign them. But now it appears that their prospects of hiring Aaron Judge have diminished.
Are Dodgers In The Race To Acquire Judge?
Aaron Judge, a free agent for the Yankees, is in a position to agree to a lucrative contract worth up to $300 million following a historic 2022 campaign. Teams, notably the current Yankees and his native San Francisco Giants, have expressed great interest in the rumored AL MVP. LA Dodgers may also be competing to sign Judge to his team.
According to the Los Angeles Dodgers report from Monday, interest in Judge was, at best moderate. However, their roster is stacked with A-list talent, and they have the resources to spend big. According to sources, the Dodgers may enter the race for Aaron Judge this offseason as a serious contender. Not having the means or being fit are the issues. However, how committed are the Dodgers to their interest? This may be a ruse to raise the price demanded by their main competitors.
